As part of Pan Ocean’s commitment to the communities where it operates and in consonance to ourstakeholder management strategy, Management exhibited its firm commitment to the welfare of the indigenes of these communities by donating relief materials to victims affected by the recent flooding which occurred in Delta State. The items were received by Mrs Juliana Young, Executive Secretary Delta State Emergency Relief Agency on behalf of Delta State Government at the Governor’s office annexe in Warri.

Pan Ocean’s delegation led by Monday Ikhureigbe, Operations Manager Warri base, presented the relief materials and reiterated Pan Ocean’s commitment towards its Corporate Social Responsibility to Government and people of Delta State. He sympathized with the victims affected and assured the State Government of Pan Ocean’s continued cooperation and support.

Mrs. Young in responding on behalf of the State Government expressed heartfelt appreciation at the noble gesture of Pan Ocean which she posited was well timed as the displaced persons needed something to start life all over again considering the fact that most of them lost their entire belongings to the flood.The items presented included; Bags of Rice, Beans, Mattresses, Blankets, treated mosquito nets and baby foods.
